WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Description

We are looking for an effective Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of building products.

Responsibilities

Manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

Handle all receiving, warehousing, distribution and coordinating operations

Manage inventory control

Maintain standards of health, safety and hygiene

Coordinate with job-site superintendents, suppliers and transport companies

Route planning

Occasionally drive a 26’ box truck

Requirements

Proven work experience in warehouse operations

Computer competency

Strong decision making and problem solving skills

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to operate a forklift

Ability to drive a large box truck (CDL not required)

Ability to lift up to 75lbs

Job duties consist of twisting, bending and lifting

Ability to read and understand picking/packing slips

Must pass a D.O.T. physical exam and drug screening
