DETAILER/PROJECT MANAGER

Position Summary

The Detailer/Project Manager will be responsible for submittals, coordination and detailing of door, frame and hardware packages for commercial construction projects.



Duties and Responsibilities (not comprehensive)

Read Blueprints

Interpret specifications

Review contract changes (RFI’s, ASI’s, SKA’s etc.)

Create detailed shop drawings

Prepare detailed submittals

Prepare detailed orders with templates, locations, etc.

Confirm order acknowledgements

Plan, direct and coordinate all activities concerned with the execution of the project

Communicate with the customer regarding schedules, details, RFl's, and all other required aspects associated with the project

 

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge

5+ years experience in the commercial door, frame and hardware industry

DHI Certifications

Strong knowledge of MS Office

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

Strong organizational and time management skills

Detail oriented

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Good computer skills

Team player
